Personal Bazi Analysis

Personal Bazi Analysis
Bazi or Eight Characters, also known as Chinese Four Pillars of Destiny, is a fortune-telling method in traditional Chinese culture. It reveals a person’s personality, destiny, wealth, career, health, marriage, and other aspects by analyzing the combination of the “Heavenly Stems” and “Earthly Branches” corresponding to the year, month, day, and hour of a person’s birth (eight characters in total).
The core principle of Bazi is the theory of Yin and Yang and the Five Elements, which refers to the relationship between the five elements of Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth that are mutually generating and overcoming. Each person’s eight characters contain these five elements, and the balance or imbalance among them determines a person’s destiny. By analyzing and adjusting the balance of the Five Elements, positive changes can be brought to a person’s life.
The process of analyzing BaZi
Eight Characters (Bazi) fortune-telling is a predictive method in traditional Chinese fortune-telling, mainly based on a person’s birth year, month, day, and hour of the four pillars, combined with the interaction between the five elements and the earthly branches and heavenly stems to analyze a person’s destiny and personality. Here are the basic principles and analysis process of Bazi fortune-telling:
Determine the Eight Characters: First, you need to determine your Eight Characters. The Eight Characters include the year, month, day, and hour of birth, each corresponding to two characters, a total of eight characters. Each character is composed of a heavenly stem (Jia, Yi, Bing, Ding, Wu, Ji, Geng, Xin, Ren, Gui) and an earthly branch (Zi, Chou, Yin, Mao, Chen, Si, Wu, Wei, Shen, You, Xu, Hai). Heavenly stems and earthly branches combine to form sixty Jiazi, forming a cycle.
Analyze the Five Elements: Convert the heavenly stems and earthly branches in the Eight Characters into the five elements (metal, wood, water, fire, earth). The five elements interact with each other: Wood generates fire, fire generates earth, earth generates metal, metal generates water, and water generates wood; Wood restrains earth, fire restrains metal, earth restrains water, metal restrains wood, and water restrains fire. By analyzing the balance and interaction of the five elements, you can understand a person’s destiny.
Determine the Life Palace and Life Master: The Life Palace refers to the earthly branch in the Eight Characters that can best represent a person’s destiny, which can reflect a person’s overall fortune. The Life Master refers to the heavenly stem in the Eight Characters that can best represent a person, which together with the Life Palace constitute a person’s destiny.
Analysis of Useful God and Restrained God: The Useful God refers to the five elements that have a positive impact on a person’s destiny in the Eight Characters, while the Restrained God is the opposite, having a negative impact on a person’s destiny. Analyzing the Useful God and the Restrained God can help you understand which aspects of a person’s life are prone to success and which aspects need to be avoided.
Analyze the Major Cycle and Annual Luck: The Major Cycle refers to the various stages in a person’s life, with each stage lasting ten years and a total of eight major cycles. The Annual Luck refers to a person’s fortune in each year. By analyzing the Major Cycle and Annual Luck, you can predict a person’s fortune in different stages and years.
